Privacy Policy
What data this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This policy explains how Advisor Review (“we”, “this site”) handles information about visitors.
Information you give us. If you send a message through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type, so that we can reply. We keep these messages only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to a mailing list without you asking.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security systems record standard server log data: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running, investigate errors and prevent abuse.
Cookies. Cookies may be set by this site for basic functionality, and by third parties whose services we use. Affiliate links to Amazon set cookies on the destination site so that a purchase can be attributed to us; those cookies are governed by Amazon’s own privacy notice. Analytics cookies, where used, help us understand which articles are read. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
Third parties. Our affiliate partner (the Amazon Associates programme) and our hosting and security providers process data on their own terms. We do not control those systems and recommend reading their privacy notices.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask for it to be corrected, or to ask for it to be deleted. Send the request through the contact page and we will respond.
Children. This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes. If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
